Osaka SMC Area
In April 2022, old Chubu SMC (System Management Center) Area (green area in the below map) and old Osaka SMC Area (yellow area) were merged into one called new Osaka SMC Area. Old Chubu and Osaka SMC area cover the following prefectures.
(1) Old Chubu SMC Area (6 Prefectures)
- Hokuriku Area
(Toyama, Ishikawa and Fukui) - Chubu Area
(Gifu, Aichi and Mie)
The maintenance of Radio Air Navigation systems in these area was conducted by Centrair Information & Communications Network Co. Ltd (CCOM).
(2) Old Osaka SMC Area (14 Prefectures)
- Kinki Area
(Shiga, Kyoto, Osaka, Hyogo, Nara and Wakayama) - Chugoku Area
(Tottori, Shimane, Okayama and Hiroshima) - Shikoku Area
(Kagawa, Ehime, Kochi and Tokushima)
The maintenance of Radio Air Navigation Systems in these area was conducted by Tokyo Denki Gijutsu Service Co. Ltd (TDS).
